CUDAHY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Cudahy School District is working to learn whether Lincoln Elementary is infested with bed bugs.
A letter was sent out to parents last week, warning them of the potential infestation. The school district plans to bring in an exterminator to inspect Lincoln.
One parent thanked the school for the warning.
"It was a little scary at first, but we read it through. But we already had precautions. Our beds had the covers that are anti-bed bug already but we washed our bedding and all the kids got a shower and so we were fine," parent Brian Wttengel said.
The Cudahy School District says if you find bed bugs at home to call a professional pest control company.
