Cudahy Fire Department donates hoses to Racine Zoo for 'animal enrichment'

RACINE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Racine Zoo received a big donation of fire hoses on Friday, Sept. 4.

The Cudahy Fire Department dropped them off at the zoo after recently switching out their old hoses.

Why give their old ones to the Racine Zoo? Officials say they use them for "animal enrichment" for their cats, bears, and primates.

Some zoos use hoses to build bridges and swings, and of course some zoos use them to spray water on the animals.
