Milwaukee County honors transit system employees
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A Milwaukee woman takes a walk in the park and ends up dead. Investigators don't know how it happened or why, but they need your help to find out who killed her.
A photo shows Ee Lee in a convenience store on 49th and North Avenue just hours before her death.
Investigators believe she left the store around 6 and went for a walk in Washington Park around 8 that night.
Someone called police when they found her unconscious near the lagoon.
The Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office says there are no witnesses, and deputies are asking anyone to come forward with what they know.
"I think what makes this different or unique is there were no shots fired," said Captain Paul Thompson, with the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office. "Most of the homicides there is usually a gun that's involved. There's no gun involved, or it could be person-to-person who struck this woman."
If you know anything about this homicide in Washington Park on Sept. 16, call Milwaukee Crime Stoppers at 414-224-8477.
