MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- This week, police are looking for help locating a suspect involved in an ambush in the woods where two people were shot, one of them killed.
It happened early in the morning on Oct. 1.
Milwaukee police say an 18-year-old man and 34-year-old woman were walking in the woods behind apartments in the 7200 block of N. Teutonia.
Police say they were heading to the 18-year-old's apartment, when someone jumped out and shot them multiple times.
18-year-old Azavairion Bailey died in the woods.
Investigators only have a few clues to work with and need help solving the case.
"So far no motive has been established and no one has been taken into custody," said MPD Captain Craig Sarnow. "We are asking anyone with information in this case to call Milwaukee Crime Stoppers."
The woman survived the attack, and emergency crews found her nearby. But it was dark, and she has no description of her attackers.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 414-224-8477. If your tip leads to an arrest, you can get up to $1,000 in a reward.
