Crews battle Racine house fire, 1 injured

RACINE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Officials say a man was injured in a Racine house fire Tuesday, Nov. 3.

Crews responded to the single family home near 13th and Indiana Street around 9:39 p.m. and extinguished a basement fire.

An adult male was given care on scene and taken to a local hospital. The fire department says he did not sustain life-threatening injuries.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.

The home sustained about $15,000 in damage and another $7,500 damage to contents.
