Man dies following crash near 76th and Florist, 2 young children injured

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The 32-year-old man injured in a crash at 76th and Florist on Monday has died from his injuries. 

The victim has been identified by the Milwaukee County medical examiner as Taylor Poirier.

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A three-vehicle crash left three people hurt, including two children, near 76th and Florist in Milwaukee on Monday, June 26. 

Officials were called to the scene just before 1 p.m. 

Police say a driver was traveling eastbound on Florist Avenue, and while attempting to make a left turn onto 76th Street, they struck another vehicle. Officials say the impact of the crash caused the vehicles to crash with a third car. 

The driver attempting to turn left, a 32-year-old Milwaukee man, was transported to a hospital with life-threatening injuries. Two passengers inside the vehicle, a 3-year-old girl and 6-year-old boy, had to be extricated from the vehicle. Both were transported to a local hospital for treatment of serious but non-fatal injuries. 

The driver of the first vehicle that was struck, a 22-year-old Milwaukee man, was arrested for a license violation. 

No other injuries were reported. 

An investigation is ongoing.
