MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Molson Coors will once again help people ring in the new year with free rides for the public.
On New Year's Eve, Coors will offer free rides on Milwaukee County Transit System (MCTS) buses.
Rides will be available free of charge beginning at 8 p.m. on Dec. 31, running through the end of service.
Organizers say the purpose of the program is to help Milwaukee residents celebrate the new year responsibly.
"As you go out, and as you think about where you're going to go, that you think about how you're going to go, and that you make sure that you have a plan for how you're going to get home safely," said Tami Garrison, community affairs director with Molson Coors.
This is the 34th year the free ride program has been offered in Milwaukee.
