Cooler Air Arrives

After a healthy dose of rain on Tuesday, much cooler air arrived. While much of the month to date was very warm and humid, now conditions have taken a turn toward a more fall like pattern.  But even more noticeable than the temperatures, the dew point levels have really plummeted. Take a look at the last twenty-four hours in Milwaukee.

As you see most other spots enjoyed a more comfortable air mass with dew point in the 40s this afternoon.

Get out and enjoy this evening if you can, because changes are on the way tonight! The evening will start out clear and comfortable. Temps will drop to the upper 50s overnight with light wind. By daybreak tomorrow, expect a mostly cloudy sky along with a few light showers. That trend will continue on and off for the better part of the day. This weather maker will only bring light amounts to the area as most spots can expect rainfall amounts of a quarter of an inch or less. Beyond that clouds will likely linger on Friday with perhaps a few sprinkles, then a dry weekend on the way. Despite plenty of sun this weekend, it will be cool. Temperatures will only reach the low to mid 60s on Saturday, with upper 60s on Sunday.
