Complaint: Student teacher accused of sexual assault in Ozaukee County

MEQUON, Wis. (CBS 58) -- In Ozaukee County, a student teacher is accused of felony sexual assault.

Twenty-one-year-old Lucas Regnier-Jamnik was taking part in a clinical student program through Concordia University at Homestead High School in Mequon.

Authorities say he was physical with a 17-year-old student. He's also accused of sending the student inappropriate messages on Snapchat.

Concordia says they can confirm he was a student during the time of the incident and will cooperate fully with law enforcement, and anyone who violates their Code of Conduct will be held accountable.

Regnier-Jamnik is out on $5,000 cash bond.

He's expected in court later this month.
