"Community Seems to Be Taking Curfew Seriously," says Milwaukee Mayor

Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett said he believes the community is taking the curfew seriously.

Barrett said the curfew will remain in effect as long as necessary. 

Barrett said the school year curfew of 10 PM during the week goes into effect on August 31. 

Chief Flynn said Monday night had been a relatively quiet night compared to the weekend. 

There were 6 arrests around 6:00 PM.
