Comedy star John Mulaney to take stage at Miller High Life Theater

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee's comedy scene is set for a boost as Emmy-nominated comedian John Mulaney is scheduled to perform at the Miller High Life Theater on Jan. 11, 2024.

Mulaney, known for his sharp wit and storytelling, has garnered critical acclaim throughout his comedic career. With two Emmy Awards and several nominations, his career spans various successful Netflix specials like Baby J, released in April. This special, which transformed personal challenges into comedic gold, earned him 2023 Emmy nods in Outstanding Variety Special and Outstanding Writing.

His career milestones include hosting Saturday Night Live five times and creating the iconic character "Stefon" with Bill Hader. He is also recognized for his voice work in Netflix's Big Mouth and his Broadway stint in Oh, Hello on Broadway with Nick Kroll.
