MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee is one of more than a dozen stops across six states on the "Clean Energy REVolution Tour."
The group stopped at Veterans Park on Thursday, Aug. 8 to highlight local investments in climate progress.
One of those investments is one million dollars for the Healthy Homes and Eco Neighborhoods Project.
Wisconsin is also the second state in the country to launch a program offering residents up to $10,000 in rebates for energy saving improvement projects.
"These rebates will be especially critical for low-income families here in Wisconsin who are often forced to make impossible choices, whether it's between heating their homes or other basic expenses," said Mandela Barnes, President, Forward Together Wisconsin.
This was the last Wisconsin stop for the group and their all-electric camper ban.
Now, they're heading to Michigan.
