Classical music to bring an 'Old School' flair to Washington Park Summer Concert Series 🎻

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- An "Old School" theme will characterize Wednesday's activities in Washington Park, with performances by the Wisconsin Conservatory Orchestra and the Concord Chamber Orchestra for the Washington Park Wednesdays Summer Concert Series.

The Wisconsin Conservatory Orchestra, an extension of multiple local music institutions, is known for its skilled teaching artists who annually guide over 16,000 students in various musical disciplines.

They will perform Suzuki String performances on Wednesday, July 26.

Following suit, the Concord Chamber Orchestra, comprised of 50 voluntary musicians accustomed to smaller, audience-driven concerts, will play at the park's Emil Blatz Temple of Music.

The orchestras may strike a few modern chords, giving a contemporary spin to the "Old School" theme.

Happy hour is set to begin at 5 p.m., with performances commencing at 6 p.m. Admission is free.
