MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A local brewery is giving back to families impacted by the recent Molson Coors shooting.
City Lights Brewing hosted a benefit Monday night, donating 75 percent of all beer sales to those families.
Co-founder and brewmaster Jimmy Gohsman says the brewing community in Milwaukee is close-knit, and they felt compelled to act.
"Part of the healing process is coming together and talking about it and putting feelings together," Gohsman said. "Beer is one thing that always brings people together and it really helps in that process."
Gohsman says he hopes City Lights can help play a role in what will be a very long healing process for the families devastated by the tragedy at Molson Coors.
