Christmas tree pick-up begins Monday in Mount Pleasant

MOUNT PLEASANT, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Mount Pleasant residents looking to dispose of their Christmas trees can place them on the curb beginning Monday, January 6th.

The Department of Public Works crews will collect those trees through Friday, January 17th.

Trees must be decoration-free and set out on the same day as your waste collection.

Authorities are reminding people to not place the trees in the actual roadway.

Wreaths and other decorative greenery should be disposed of with regular trash.
