Christmas at the Pabst debuts Thursday with a new season of tours and decor
CBS 58 MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Christmas at the Pabst is back beginning Thursday, Nov. 20. You can check out a dozen rooms decorated in ornate and colorful details by area designers.
For many families, walking the halls of Milwaukee's famous beer barons is a holiday tradition. It's a tradition for some decorators too.
"All of the decorators come back and have a completely new vision every year. Literally no two years, no two rooms are exactly the same," said Jocelyn Slocum, the museum director. "So, every year you come, you’re going to see a different interpretation of the house."
There will be daily opportunities to tour Christmas at the Pabst starting Thursday and running through Jan. 4.
"We have our self-guided tours daily. Those are from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and then we have Father Christmas [...] on Sunday afternoon. Thursday through Sunday morning we have Holiday Mimosa Tours, that’s the only guided tour during the holiday season," said Slocum.
