MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Author David A. Kelly joined us on Tuesday, Dec. 30 to chat about his latest book in the Ballpark Mysteries series, "The Bobblehead Bunt," which is set at American Family Field.
The children's chapter book series combines sports, mystery and adventure. Each book takes place at a real Major League Baseball stadium and follows two kid detectives as they solve a mystery tied to a big game.
The series has featured 21 different MLB stadiums across 27 books. Kelly said the series appeals to reluctant readers by using sports as a gateway to get kids interested in reading.
The books are aimed at kids in grades 2-4. Click here for more details.
