Chicago Cops: 13-year-old kills cousin after Xbox argument

CHICAGO -- A 13-year-old boy has been charged with killing his 16-year-old cousin.

 

It happened in the 500 block of E. 38th place Sunday morning.

 

Police say Raymond Galloway, 16, was shot while he was sleeping.

 

The two boys had been arguing earlier about an Xbox, according to a police report.

 

The boy was charged as a juvenile with first-degree murder just after midnight Monday and was scheduled to appear in juvenile court later in the day.

 

Police said the 13-year-old admitted to the crime with his mother present. It's not clear where the boy got the gun and no adults have been charged.
