Cheryl Sensenbrenner, wife of Congressman Jim Sensenbrenner, remembered as 'tireless advocate' for the disabled

WISCONSIN (CBS 58) -- The wife of Wisconsin Congressman Jim Sensenbrenner, Cheryl Warren Sensenbrenner, passed away Monday morning, June 15, in Alexandria, Virginia just outside of Washington D.C.

She was 69 years old.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by their two adult sons and a 3-year-old grandson.

The couple recently celebrated their 43rd anniversary. 

In a statement, the congressman said that Cheryl was devoted to her family and was a tireless advocate to ensure all Americans with disabilities were protected from discrimination.

Arrangements are being made for a private service in Wisconsin.
