MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Nothing says summer like the return of beer gardens. On Thursday, May 22, Roundhouse Beer Garden at McKinley Marina officially cracked open cold ones!
To kick off the first day, the first 100 beers were free.
All the beers are local to Wisconsin with a constantly rotating tap, and a portion of all sales support Milwaukee County Parks.
This is the Roundhouse's fourth season, and they're bringing back some fan favorites but they're also introducing a new food item perfect for the whole family.
"We have a sausage tower, think oyster tower but make it hot dogs and brats. You get your selection of cheddar wursts brats and hotdogs on the bottom. We do popcorn chips and your selection of dips on top," said Anna Bartolotta, restaurant manager.
All season there will be live music every Monday and Friday, and if you buy a glass and bring it back you get a refill discount.
