MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police are investigating a fatal crash that occurred late Tuesday, Feb. 18 near the intersection of 63rd and Teutonia.

The crash happened at around 11:40 p.m. when a 23-year-old driver traveling north on Teutonia Ave. collided with a vehicle driven by a 69-year-old man traveling east on Mill Road, according to police.

The 69-year-old driver was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The 23-year-old driver was also hospitalized for injuries and later taken into custody.

The investigation is ongoing, and charges are pending review by the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office.
