MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The C.H. Mason Health Clinic in Milwaukee has expanded its services, now offering dental care and pharmacy consulting to the underinsured and uninsured.
The expansion, unveiled during a Friday, Aug. 16 ceremony, was made possible through partnerships with Familia Dental and We Care Pharmacy.
"It’s amazing," said Valerie Daniels-Carter, senior executive pastor of Holy Redeemer Church of God in Christ.
"From the day we opened the doors until even today, as you can see, it continues to grow. There are so many individuals within this zip code that need health and wellness care."
The clinic is associated with Holy Redeemer Institutional Church of God in Christ and was founded by the late Bishop Sedgwick Daniels, the church’s former pastor. Friday’s ceremony included the unveiling of a repository wall in memory of Bishop Daniels.
