Law Enforcement Night was held at Miller Park.
Officers past and present were honored with a ceremony on the field. The Brewers also made a donation to the National Law Enforcement Memorial in Washington DC.
CBS 58 News spoke with several officers who were moved by the gesture.
"We're not anybody's enemy. We're brothers, sisters, husbands, wives, parents. We're just tasked to keep the order and society safe and we live a life just like anybody else does. And this just brings us out and shows that we're all human," said Retired Detective Michael Meyer.
Some of the officers brought family members along. Not only for a fun night at the ballpark but to show law enforcement is a family no matter which badge the officers wear.
