Center Street Bridge Set to Reopen Tonight
The rebuilding of Center St. in Wauwatosa started back at the end of January. The project included reconstruction of the roadways as well as the demolition and complete rebuild of the Center St. Bridge over the I-41/US-45 corridor.
The 8-month project will finally come to an end tonight. By 5 p.m. drivers will once again be able to access Center St. from 112th to 115th St. The conclusion of this project comes just in time before the start of the 2016-2017 school year.
The surrounding neighborhood also had sewer work done during the project and those roads that were closed will also reopen.
