CBS 58 Viewer Shares Chance Meeting with Singer Kid Rock Near Yacht at Discovery World
Kid Rock docked on Tuesday a yacht at Discovery World.
CBS 58 viewer Denise Nord was lucky enough to meet the star.
It happened Tuesday.
"My son and I were waiting for over 4 hrs waiting for him to debark the boat. I'm a huge Kid Rock fan," explained Nord. "I know tons about him and one thing is he doesn't like to be harassed.. So, we watched patiently for hours."
Nord says one of the singer's friend approached them and said he'd be willing to take a picture.
"I couldn't believe it," recalls Nord.
She said she told the friend she loves Kid Rock and he replied that he could tell.
"He is so good to his fans and is so down to earth and genuine."
The boat, Rock It, is owned by Jimmy John's Sandwich founder.
According to Detroit Metro Times, the 198-foot yacht was most recently at Mackinac Island.

Kid Rock will be performing on Thursday in Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin.
