CBS 58 speaks with former Badgers star

Milwaukee - Andy Kowske is a Milwaukee native who started all four years for the University of Wisconsin Badgers Men's Basketball Team. During that time, he led the team in rebounding and was second in scoring. Kowske played a key role in leading the 2000 Badgers team to the Final Four in his junior year.

CBS 58 spoke with Kowske to get his thoughts on the 2014 Badgers making it to the NCAA Final Four. Kowske works as a civil engineer for HNTB. He lives in Milwaukee, and is married with two children. He can still remember the game against Purdue in 2000. Kowske scored 14 points, and grabbed 8 rebounds to help his team snatch a 64 to 60 victory over Purdue. Kowske said the current Badgers team will have to continue to make shots, not give the opposing team second chance shots, and not turn the ball over.
