SOUTHEASTERN WISCONSIN (CBS 58) – The CBS 58 Tailgate’s whirlwind tour of high school football, week three starts at a matchup so big it’s at a college stadium.
Arrowhead and Catholic Memorial battle it out at Carroll University.
Arrowhead walks in hungry at a game that would have the defending Classic 8 champs, Catholic Memorial trailing nearly the entire first half.
It’s a night rich in rivalries and stocked with stories. Like Waukesha West coach Steve Rux leading his wolverines into Ed Rux stadium, the Oconomowoc stadium named for his dad. West, undefeated and trying not to get bitten by Oconomowoc’s Raccoons wins 49-7.
The Kettle Moraine Lasers, fresh off a shutout last week host Waukesha North. It was a nice 17 point win for the Lasers with a final score of 38 to 21.
The Homestead Highlanders take the win against Grafton, 50-0.
Menomonee Falls wins 20-18 against Wauwatosa West.
