MILWAUKEE COUNTY (CBS 58) -- It's a celebration of Catholic schools this week across the Milwaukee area.
Archbishop Jerome Listecki celebrated with a special mass at Catholic Memorial High School in Waukesha for more than 1,200 students, faculty, and staff.
Listecki says that this week gives students an opportunity to see how their Catholic Education can shape their future.
"As people of faith, we believe there's a responsibility they have with the talent they're given and that's to maximize it for the good of the entire community," said Archbishop Jerome Listecki.
The Archbishop also says Catholic Schools Week gives students a chance to appreciate the sacrifices they, their parents, and their teachers make so they can get an education.
