Car with child shot at in Brookfield, one injured

A man was hit twice by gunfire while driving with a woman and young child in Brookfield on October 28 at 6:07 PM, according to Brookfield Police Department.
Female driver and male passenger, along with a young child were driving west on Capitol Drive near Calhoun Road when they believe they were being followed.
They then proceeded south on Calhoun Road and then east on Burleigh, on Burleigh west of Pilgrim when their vehicle was shot at and the male was struck twice.
He was transported to Froedtert Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The driver and young child were not struck or injured.
The victim was shot in the upper leg and chin.
