Car stolen with baby inside

Milwaukee Police are investigating the theft of a car with a child inside that happened in the 2800 block of S. 13th Street around 1:10 p.m. on May 12.

A 22-year-old woman left her 2012 Chevy Cruze running with her 1-year-old male child inside while she was loading and unloading her vehicle.

A male suspect entered the victim's car and fled eastbound on W. Montana Avenue.

The vehicle, with the child inside and unharmed, was later found in the 2900 block of S. 15th Place.

Milwaukee Police continue to search for the suspect.
