Car rolls over, seriously injuring driver in Sheboygan County

The driver of a car was seriously injured Sunday morning when rolling over his vehicle in the Town of Sherman in Sheboygan County.

A 911 call came in at 11:57 with the report of a rollover vehicle crash on State Highway 57 south of County Highway D in the Town of Sherman.

When deputies arrived, they found the driver, a 46-year-old male from Sheboygan, was trapped in the vehicle. The driver was removed and taken via Flight For Life to Froedert Medical Center in Milwaukee to be treated for serious injuries.

Authorities say that the vehicle lost control and exited the west side of the roadway, hit a traffic sign and then a utility pole. The vehicle then rolled over and came to a stop on its roof.

In the vehicle with the driver was a 34-year-old male from Plymouth. He was transported to St. Nicholas Hospital via ambulance to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

The Sheboygan County Sheriff's Office was assisted by the Random Lake Ambulance, Random Lake Fire Department, Silver Creek Fire Department and Flight For Life.

More information on the accident is expected on Monday.
