Car in Wauwatosa Hits Child and Light Pole

A car hit a 12-year-old boy and a light pole on N Wauwatosa Ave and Hillcrest Drive, according to Wauwatosa Police.

The boy was taken to Children's Hospital.

According to police, he was crossing street and a car tried to swerve and avoid him.

The car clipped him and also hit a light pole which fell.

Police believe the pole might have injured the boy as well.

He was conscious and breathing. He suffered an arm injury.
