Car crash into Milwaukee River, one person rescued

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee Fire Department (MFD) reports that a car crashed into the Milwaukee River at Lincoln Park around 2:00 p.m. on Sunday.
One person was rescued from the car by the MFD technical rescue dive team and taken to the hospital.
Lincoln Park is located on either side of Hampton Ave. in Glendale along the Milwaukee River.
Milwaukee County Sheriff is handling the investigation into this incident.
