Candy Cane Lane transforms into winter wonderland Nov. 25

WEST ALLIS, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The 37th year of Candy Cane Lane kicks off Friday, Nov. 25.

The West Allis neighborhood within Oklahoma and Montana Avenue on the south and north, and 92nd and 96th Street on the east and west, will once again be transformed into a winter wonderland benefiting the MACC Fund. 

Holiday lights will be aglow from Nov. 25-Dec. 25, according to a press release, from 6-9 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays, 6-10 p.m. Fridays, 5-10 p.m. Saturdays and 5-9 p.m. Sundays.

It's free to attend, with donations accepted at the corner of 95th and Manitoba. 

Candy Cane Lane has raised over $3 million for the MACC Fund since 1985.

A release says 2020 was a record-breaking year, raising more than $200,000, and 2021 was the second-highest fundraiser, raising nearly $160,000.
