Candy Cane Lane returns to West Allis neighborhood for its 40th year

WEST ALLIS, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Candy Cane Lane returns to West Allis Friday, Nov. 28, benefitting the MACC Fund and this year, North Shore Bank is helping out with the celebration. 

Candy Cane Lane is a neighborhood in West Allis that features holiday light displays. The area runs between 92nd and 96th streets east to west and from Montana Ave. to Oklahoma Ave. north to south.

In honor of Candy Cane Lane's 40th anniversary this year, North Shore Bank will be at Candy Cane Lane opening night from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. collecting donations and also handing out MACC Fund Star ornaments to the first 40 cars of the evening. 

According to a news release, North Shore Bank will also have its annual "Change for a Cure" matching campaign. Anyone who stops by a North Shore Bank branch across Wisconsin, can count their coins for free and choose to donate all or part of their change to the MACC Fund. North Shore Bank will match donations up to $1,000.
