Cafe Corazon Offers Free Meal to Patrons Robbed on Way to Restaurant

A couple heading to Cafe Corazon in Riverwest Tuesday night was robbed about a block away. 

When the staff found out they called up the owner, and invited them in and offered to pick up the tab.

"They weren't coming in after, I guess, because they had unfortunately loss their money. But you know we're in this community, these people are all of our neighbors, God forbid anything happens, especially these people that we know we wanna make sure that they're taken care of,” said Alicia Roy from Café Corazon.

Police said they are investigating a robbery in this area, and there is no word on any arrests.
