Businesses clear out flooded basements

Several water restoration companies said their phones have been ringing off the hook Tuesday with people needing help with their flooded basements.

Insurance can cover most of it, but Steve Miller, owner of Marathon, said many homeowners don't have the proper coverage.



\"What many need to understand is, they need to be fully covered with their insurance.The reason is because you never know if you're the one who is going to be hit or not.There's no rhythm or reason as why this happens, water comes in all shapes and sizes. Sometimes people do everything they can to make sure it doesn't happen to you and it still can happen to you,\" said Miller.
