WAUKESHA (CBS 58)--One “Habitat for Humanity” initiative in Waukesha provides the framework for boosting women’s self confidence and empowerment all in one. “Women Build 2020” gives a group of ladies the opportunity to help construct a house for a local family. But there’s a need for funding assistance. This is where Habitat’s ReStore comes in and you as well. Through September 15th, you have the chance to submit a DIY art project to be voted on and eventually auctioned off. Proceeds will go toward making this home construction project a reality.
There’s a 20 dollar registration fee for artwork submission, but it can be waived with the purchase of supplies at the Waukesha ReStore itself. We’ve posted all the information about “Women Build 2020" right here.
