Bucks watch parties return to the Deer District plaza for 2022 playoffs

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Deer District plaza is once again hosting Milwaukee Bucks watch parties for the 2022 playoffs.

The parties will be held during every Bucks playoff game this year -- home and road -- with the first scheduled for Game 1 of the Bucks' first round series against the Chicago Bulls on April 17.

This year, the stage and outdoor screen will be set up on the south side of the plaza, according to a press release, with a capacity limit of 11,000 in place. Gates will open two hours prior to tipoff and tickets are not required to attend. All fans will go through a magnetometer before entering, and no bags are permitted (only wallets smaller than 4x6x1 will be allowed).

Fans planning to attend the watch parties should enter on the south side of the plaza near the intersection of Highland and Vel R. Phillips Avenue.

Those with tickets to that day's game should enter on the north side of the plaza near the intersection of Juneau and Vel R. Phillips Avenue.

Juneau Avenue will be closed for traffic between 5th St. and Vel R. Phillips Avenue during playoff games.

The release says surprise guests are scheduled to make appearances throughout the playoffs, and The Bucks Entertainment Network will also be on site to bring the energy during each event.

Watch parties will also have expanded food and beverage options this year, including Jack Daniel's Airstream, serving up ready-to-drink canned cocktails.

New to this postseason is the Deer District All-Access VIP area. The Bucks say currently, the All-Access membership is by invitation only, but fans can join the waiting list by clicking here
