Bucks to play Pistons in first round of playoffs

The Milwaukee Bucks finish the regular season with a 127-116 loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder on Thursday.

The Bucks had already clinched the No. 1 seed in the Eastern Conference and finished with the best regular season record in the NBA. Milwaukee will now play the Detroit Pistons in the first round of the playoffs.

Giannis Antetokounmpo did not play in Thursday’s regular season finale along with some other key players.

Khris Middleton was the only usual Bucks starter in the starting five, and he scored 21 points in 17 minutes. He took an intentional foul with 5:32 left in the third quarter to end his night, moments after scoring to bring Milwaukee within 84-79.

Tim Frazier scored a career-high 29 points for Milwaukee and D.J. Wilson added a career-high 18 while grabbing 17 rebounds. Rookie Bonzie Colson started and scored 21 points.
