MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee Bucks are getting into the Christmas spirit, and they're sharing that excitement with hometown kids.

The team hosted its ninth annual Shop with a Buck event at Kohl's Tuesday, Dec. 2.

Twenty kids, ages 8-17, got to hang out with A.J. Green, Kyle Kuzma, and Ryan Rollins as they shopped with $400 in spending money.

The kids came from Camp Reunite, an organization serving children who have a parent incarcerated in the Wisconsin Correction System, and they say it means the world to have this opportunity.

"I feel really special right now," said Brooklyn Arms. "Like sometimes, my mom, she don't have enough money to get me stuff...this is a really good thing for kids that needed help right now."

We had a chance to talk to A.J. Green at Tuesday's event. He tells us he's most inspired by the kids' generosity towards their families.

They could have spent all $400 on themselves, but Brooklyn says she's buying things for her siblings and parents, and if she has any money left over, she'll get something for herself.
