Bucks Name Entertainment District Design Team

A Milwaukee-based architecture group will help design an entertainment district to surround the new Bucks arena.

Friday the team announced Rinka Chung will join the project. The Milwaukee firm has a hand in the Lakefront Gateway Plaza, and the Couture project. The group also designed the Moderne, which is just yards away from where the new arena will stand.

Chicago-based Gensler is also joining the project to design the entertainment district.

Bucks President Peter Feigin said, “We envision this space being a showcase for the best entertainment outlets that Milwaukee and Wisconsin have to offer and one that empowers local businesses to partner with us in revitalizing this portion of the city. We look forward to working with Gensler, Rinka Chung and local officials to bring our ownership’s vision for this space to life.”
