Bucks Host Clinic for 100 Special Olympic Athletes

Milwaukee Bucks hosted a special clinic for 100 Special Olympic athletes and their coaches.

“You get a lot. I feel like tonight was an unbelievable experience because you learn so much from these kids and what they go through,” said Greivis Vasquez, Milwaukee Bucks.

The event took place at Homestead High School.

“I learned some blocking from the players and it was cool that we learned all that,” said Shaquille Gilbert, Special Olympics.

While the athletes obviously loved finding a competitive advantage, the one on one time they got to spend with some of the players just talking and joking around also seemed to have just as important an impact.

“Energy. Everybody had fun. It means a lot. Good night for everybody to come out and play some basketball and just get together,” said Tyler Ennis, Bucks Players.
