MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) - Sunday's win for the Milwaukee Bucks in their first game of the NBA playoffs fueled excitement from fans who want to see the Bucks defend their championship.
Fans at Fiserv Forum Sunday were chanting "Bucks in 4," keeping the energy and confidence moving forward for Milwaukee.
"I'm super excited for the playoffs. Last year was electrifying, it was amazing," one fan, Tim Lynch, told CBS 58.
Just a few hours leading up to the Bucks' first playoff matchup, fans filled the Deer District early.
Even after a tight game against the Chicago Bulls, some Bucks fans said they weren't surprised to see a win in game one.
"We're sweeping them. It's going to be a sweep for the rest of the series. You already know," said fan, Tyson Nash.
There will be watch parties in the plaza just outside Fiserv Forum for each game, with security checkpoints to enter.
Despite cold weather Sunday, fans still kept up the energy outside the stadium, dancing to a live DJ and celebrating the win.
Their next playoff game against the Bulls is Wednesday night in Milwaukee.
