Bucks battle in San Antonio but come up short

Almost no one succeeds when playing the Spurs in San Antonio, but the Bucks came very close to pulling off one of the NBA's great road upsets Sunday night.

Khris Middleton scored 21 points and Jerryd Bayless added 15, but the Bucks came up six points short in a 101-95 loss in the heart of Texas.

A 13-0 run by the Bucks late in the first quarter helped the visitors open up a lead, and Jason Kidd's bunch battled against the Spurs for the rest of the night. A Jared Dudley jumper early in the fourth quarter tied the game, and a Bayless bucket with :52 to play put the Bucks within two, but the Bucks would not score for the remainder of the game.

Even with Sunday's loss, the Bucks have an impressive 12-12 record on the road this season.
