Bucks arena funding in front of city leaders, Ald. Davis wants minority businesses included

City leaders will hear a fiscal analysis about the Bucks arena plan from the City of Milwaukee Comptroller at today's steering and rules committee hearing.  It is set for 4:00 pm at City Hall.  Public input is welcome.

Along with that, Alderman Joe Davis will unveil a plan to help minority businesses. He hopes the agreement will include 50,000 square feet of retail space dedicated to minority businesses. He also wants a 25% discount on a lease agreement for five years for minority businesses that are part of the development.

Davis plans to introduce the plan Monday afternoon. The meeting is at City Hall in room 301-B.
