Brown Deer woman arrested for hitting boyfriend in head with wooden chair

BROWN DEER, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A Brown Deer woman was arrested for allegedly hitting her boyfriend in the head with a wooden chair.

Police were called to the 9100 block of N. Park Plaza around 7:48 p.m. on Sunday. A man called police to report that his girlfriend hit him, causing bleeding. The man also said his girlfriend was outside of the apartment with a gun.

Police spoke with the woman who was found not to have a gun in her possession. 

The investigation revealed that the two of them were physically fighting when the woman struck the man in the head several times with a wooden chair, causing a laceration.

The woman was arrested for Domestic Violence - Battery. 

Charges are pending with the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office.
