Brown Deer Woman Admits to Putting Dog in Locked Car for Hour

Brown Deer Police were called to an apartment parking lot on Wednesday for a report of a dog locked inside of a vehicle for about an hour.

The owner of the dog, a 36-year-old Brown Deer woman, admitted to police she put the dog in her vehicle for an hour.

She said she put the dog in her car so she could help her daughter with her homework at their apartment.

She further stated she put the dog in the vehicle since the neighbor below her residence calls the police anytime her dog barks.

According to Brown Deer Police, the dog did not appear to be in distress and no other police assistance was required
