Brown Deer Police Officers Released From Hospital

Two Brown Deer Police Officers involved in a shooting on N 60th are out of the hospital.

The representative for Milwaukee County Transit says the passenger was causing some problems on the bus. Once the two officers were talking with the passenger things escalated into a shooting. 

We are told the suspect is still in the hospital being treated. While the union has vocalized safety concerns for drivers on the bus, the Milwaukee County Transit says issues on the bus have actually been declining since last year.

The union says the bus driver is shaken up but recovering.
