BROWN DEER, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Brown Deer Police Department celebrated the retirement of a four-legged member of their team Friday, Feb. 28.

In a Facebook post, the police department shared photos of K-9 Vader's retirement party. 

"Thank you to everyone who showed up to wish K9 Vader a Happy Retirement!" the post read. "Officer Morgan and Vader surely appreciated all the love that they received as we celebrated their wonderful career together. Congratulations to you both!"

According to Brown Deer PD, Vader has faithfully served the citizens of Brown Deer since 2012.
